Jewelry Artist Carrie Meyer
December’s 2012 Artist of the Month: Carrie Meyer
Carrie Meyer was born and raised in Huntington Beach, CA and now resides in the beautiful Northwest near Bellingham, WA. Although she loves being a stay at home mom, as well as being very active in the community, with both her church and children’s school, she’s always had a passion for both fashion and jewelry.
Her business started off innocently enough as she simply began making and designing fashion jewelry for her own use. However, immediately friends, family and people in general began asking where they could purchase the same pieces she was wearing. And before she knew it, Get Carrie’d Away was born which now includes a thriving on-line business.
We invite you to see Carrie’s passion in her jewelry and check out her website: Get Carrie’d Away Her goal and passion is to help provide you with emotionally rich jewelry that will make you both look and feel incredible.
Would you like to be featured as the Artist of the Month? Bring in some of your pieces or email your pictures to beautyinthebeadshop@gmail.com.

Jewelry Artist Sherri Greenleaf
November’s 2012 Artist of the Month: Sherri Greenleaf
An eye for design: Always having had the ability to turn innate objects into inviting items of warmth and beauty, I have used that sense to create unique and lovely styles of jewelry.
The past three years, I have owned a private working studio in Casa Grande, AZ. I had the fortunate opportunity to study beading styles, silversmithing, lapidary, and even woodturning while there, giving me a new prospective from which to grow and develop my own style.
The Pacific Northwest has always been my home. Recently my husband and I returned to this beautiful area to be near family and friends, as well as further our artist endeavors.
Now you can come to our shop and see her jewelry that is for sale during November.
