    Hi !

So in looking at wire gauges compared to bead hole sizes…

I have 14g wire that I want to put beads on. I wanted to buy beads that have a 1.5mm hole. Will they fit, or do I need a larger size hole for the 14g wire ?

    thanks for your help 🙂

Ann, I am sorry I missed seeing this comment on our website. We don’t work with wire in our shop larger than 16g. But I looked it up and 14g is 1.5mm so a bead with a 1.5mm hole should work. Might be real tight. It also depends on the quality and accuracy of the wire and beads that you buy. Best thing to do is take a piece of wire to the bead shop and see what beads will fit on the wire. Sorry, I am not sure this was much help. Thanks and I hope you have a great day.
